Uhde's Key Design and Execution Features in Recent Urea Plants

Abstract:

During the last decade Uhde has been awarded contracts for a couple of urea plants. The general tendency is to increasing capacities and blueprint plants. This paper deals with the special features and challenges of actual projects realized in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Egypt and Malaysia and gives an overview over recent developments made by Uhde to strengthen its position as a leading engineering company in the field of urea.
