You can use the "KeePass" software to manage your passwords.
Please proceed as follows:
1. Download the zip file and save it on your computer/laptop.
2. Unzip the file and start "keepass.exe" (you don’t need administrator rights!)
3. Click "File->new" ( the symbol in the upper left corner) or press "ctrl + n" to create a new password file.
4. If you have a desktop computer, please save this password file on a company server! (This way your password file will not get lost when your computer is replaced, if new software is installed, etc.) If you have a laptop, you can save the file locally, but you have to back it up regularly.
5. Enter your "master password" (a secure password that meets the standards described in the flyer!) . Do not choose any further options.
6. Click "Ok" (2x) – that's it. Now you can safely store passwords, access links, etc.
Please note:
It is NOT ALLOWED to use KeePass for saving/managing passwords or access data which are used for the administration of IT systems or applications.
